The theatre of a puppet and an actor “The Skomoroh” was created in the august of 1946. It was the puppet show, that was oriented on children auditory. A new page in history of the theatre began with the arrival of Sverdlovsk theatre director Roman Vinderman to Tomsk.
Since 1983 to 2001 Roman Vinderman was the permanent director of the theatre, which got a new name – “The Skomoroh”. For 18 years of creative activity he created the theatre of new type, with it’s own aesthetics, and enriched the potential of the scenic art. Vinderman’ s creative work made famous Tomsk culture far from the limits of the region and the country.
After Vinderman” s death in 2001 the theatre bears his name.
In the period from 2002 to 2003 the theatre was lead by the National artist of Russia, Laureate of the national premium, Valerii Volhovskii.
By Volhovskii’ s recommendation, in September of 2003 the theatre was gotten by a new chief director – Sergey Yagotkin, graduate of Saint Petersburg theatre academy and Saratov conservatory. |
